Discovery STEM Education is a growing not for profit organisation providing a range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities for children. These include after school clubs, school enrichment days, public events and holiday camps. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic individuals to help us deliver these. STEM club facilitators are responsible for facilitating hands-on, interactive STEM activities to children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old and bringing a creative and proactive approach to developing new activities. We are currently looking to expand provision of after school clubs in Sheffield and require a STEM club facilitator to deliver after school sessions between approximately 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays (times may vary slightly between schools). There will also be opportunities to facilitate school enrichment days, public events and holiday camps. Longer term, there is potential for the STEM club facilitators to move up the STEM presenter scale and into more senior positions within the organisation.
