Discovery STEM Education is a growing not for profit organisation providing a range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities for children. These include after school clubs, school enrichment days, practical GCSE/A level workshops, public events and holiday camps. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and energetic individuals to help us deliver these. STEM facilitators are responsible for facilitating hands-on, interactive STEM activities to children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old and bringing a creative and proactive approach to developing new activities. Our STEM Club provision is expanding and we now require STEM club facilitators to deliver between two and six STEM clubs between 3.15pm and 4.15pm (Monday – Friday) and 11.30am – 12.30pm on Saturdays. A six week period of training and support will be provided. There will also be opportunities to facilitate school enrichment days, public events and holiday camps. Longer term, there is potential for STEM facilitators to increase their hours, develop new projects and move up the STEM facilitator scale into more senior positions within the organisation.
